A specialised educational mobile app designed exclusively for UPSC Combined Medical Services exam aspirants. It delivers structured practice modules mapped to the official syllabus, full-length timed mock tests, detailed performance analytics and spaced repetition study planning — giving medical graduates the preparation system this exam has always lacked.
UPSC CMS aspirants lacked a digital preparation tool built specifically for this exam's unique blend of clinical and preclinical medicine. Generic MCQ apps didn't cover the scenario-based questions, paper structure or the clinical reasoning skills required. Students were preparing with scattered textbooks and unstructured notes, with no performance data.
A focused, deliberate process — from discovery to deployment.
Collaborated with UPSC CMS toppers and medical educators to map 8 years of past papers, identify the highest-yield topics and design a structured question bank of 15,000+ MCQs with clinically accurate explanations.
Built a spaced repetition algorithm that surfaces questions based on the student's performance history — prioritising weak areas and reinforcing long-term retention through evidence-based review intervals.
Designed full-length timed mock tests matching the real exam format (200 questions, 2 hours) with post-test analysis breaking down accuracy by subject, difficulty tier and clinical vs preclinical domains — with percentile benchmarks.
Implemented Firebase local persistence so students can practice without internet and have their progress synced seamlessly when they reconnect — critical for aspirants in areas with unreliable mobile data.
Real impact, measured and validated.
Every tool chosen deliberately for the problem at hand.
The mock tests are uncannily similar to the real exam format. I used MOPREP for 4 months and scored in the top 200 nationally. Nothing else comes close for UPSC CMS specific prep.
